Founded in 1949 by F. E. Wilson, the practice today comprises three partners, six additional qualified optometrists, five qualified dispensing opticians and a full compliment of support staff operating from our four locations in Sussex and Kent. Wilson, Wilson and Hancock's Hastings practice is one of the largest in the country, but more important is our concern for patient care, and awareness that professional care and service must be a priority to every one of our patients.		In Hastings for example, where there is air-conditioning, each of our six consulting rooms is equipped to the highest standard with state of the art instrumentation , and there is a lift for those unable to manage the stairs. Consulting rooms at the other practices are all on the ground floor level. A thorough examination is given to every patient to monitor the health of the eyes and to determine the exact nature of the patient's visual needs. Many disorders of general health are also initially detected at an eye examination.
