Optomap™ Retinal Images are captured by the Panoramic 200™ Scanning Laser Ophthalmoscope.

Optomap™ is the only Ultra Widefield digital image to give a 200° internal view of the retina.

Optopmap™ Retinal Images are fast.  Laser and digital technology combine to create superior digital retinal images, captured in 0.25 seconds, without mydriasis.

Optomap™ Retinal images are easy to obtain, non-invasive and can be patient activated.

About Optomap...

The procedure is less stressful because you do not have to remain still for prolonged periods while the examination takes place.

With the press of a button a small flash is delivered which leaves no residual 'stun'.  The red and green lasers in the Panoramic200™ scan the retina in 0.25 seconds.  The procedure is non-invasive and no scleral or corneal depression is required, making it a comfortable and stress-free procedure for you, the patient.

A single shot digital image is instantly displayed on the monitor, allowing immediate examination of the retinal area.  If the image requires further investigation, it can be emailed, downloaded or printed and sent off for diagnosis.
