Approximate Fields of View from conventional devices compared with a typical Optomap™ Retinal Image.

Fundus Camera Slit Lamp Binocular Indirect Direct Opthalmoscope

Optomap Ultra Widefield Images show a more extensive view of the retina.

Example of a full colour Optomap™ image with a retinal tear at the periphery not identified with conventional screening.

This is an example of a full on-screen digital Optomap
Retinal Image.  Unlike conventional retinal imaging it extends out to the periphery of the retina allowing detection of pathology missed by the limited view of conventional image systems.  The red and green lasers image the retina at different depths, giving you additional diagnostic information about the nature of the retinal pathology being viewed.
